Avantis independently seeks out and initiates contact with potential candidates, based on either an existing working relationship, or exceptional word-of-mouth personal recommendations, combined with a proven performance record in their field. The process is quiet and selective.
There are exceptions, however, and openings may occasionally be listed publicly.

Avantis is actively involved in the grooming of our future entrepreneurs and business leaders. Our Apprenticeship Program allows new graduates the opportunity to learn in an active business environment under the leadership of seasoned professionals. It's a paid learning environment where students and graduates can learn business and technological skills in a real-world setting, by shadowing and contributing as part of our team.
It's tough for new grads and students to find opportunities to practically apply what they are learning in the classroom, and finding a job without real-world experience is especially difficult. We'd like to help.

Social Programs A Hand to Hold
A hospital can be a very lonely and long place to stay. A day can feel like a week, and not everyone has family or relatives nearby to come visit and make the hours more bearable.
When patients don't have anyone to say goodbye to or miss them when they're gone, they feel alone and forgotten; as though the world would never notice if they passed. It's a heartbreaking way to spend final days, and while we can't be there for everyone, we can be there for someone.
Avantis's Hand to Hold program works with hospitals to facilitate staff and their family's visitation of long- and short-term patients; particularly patients who are alone. It doesn't take much to brighten a patient's day; whether it's reading to them, sitting and chatting with them, or just holding their hand for a little while.
Avantis was founded for the purpose of touching and healing lives, and we're committed to meeting people in need where they are. This sometimes means reaching-out beyond the world of corporate finance and business systems, and just holding the hand of a human being who needs someone to care. Avantis encourages all employees to take advantage of the Hand to Hold program. While financial revenues feed our bodies, heart revenues feed our soul and our humanity.
Avantis is committed to the health and wellness of its team members, so we have teamed-up with LAFitness to offer gym memberships to its employees and consultants.
Studies show that regular exercise not only improves cardiovascular performance and helps maintain a healthy body, but regular, prolonged moderate exercise also stimulates neurotransmitters, endorphins, and endocannabanoids; giving us mental clarity and a positive perspective.
Studies also show that professionals in technical fields are at highest risk for sendentary-related death because their job requires constant sitting and prolonged high stress (and when we're programming, we don't always eat very well... admit it). We kinda like you guys and want to keep you around a bit longer. Let's go to the gym.
